Debating Club Visit To London Houses of Parliament

Hello parents and carers,
On Friday 17th October, the children of the Debating Club went on a visit to the Houses of Parliament in London.
The trip was organised by Mrs. Taylor and the children were further accompanied by Mrs. Rice and myself.
The children were a great credit to the school and learned a great deal about the democratic process and how Parliament works. They also saw some wonderful sights within the Capital.
Our children are always very endearing - but on this occasion, the bus driver who was responsible for taking us from Euston to Parliament was so moved by the children's delightful nature that he extended a trip that should have taken about 25 minutes to 45 minutes (we had loads of time before the train was due to leave) and he decided to take the children on an impromptu sight seeing tour around the Capital!!
