Sports in October-year 5 and 6 fixtures and updates

Dear Parents, A few changes to next weeks after school activities, please note;
Judo for years 3,4 and 5,6 will take place as normal on Monday 3.30-4.30 and 4.30-5.30 pm week 4 of 5.
Tag Rugby training/trials will be on Monday Lunchtime, with Sam Botfield and Myself. The 1st Rugby event of the year, is next Saturday 10th Oct.
The event is at Ormskirk R.U.F.C. Green Lane 10am -1.30pm approx. St. Annes hope to take 2 teams, we shall select from Mondays session.
Girls Football-yr 6. On Tuesday 3.30-5.00pm, I shall be taking the Girls football-Not the boys! The girls football event is on Thursday 22nd Oct, and we need to select the team, if possible we shall also have a B Team, though in some competitions we can only enter 1 team. I have waited as long as possible to select this team, as the girls get better each week, the more they play the better they get. All yr 6 girls will always be welcome to train, selected or not.
Cross country training/Trials year 5 and 6. On Wednesday 7th Oct, after school 3.30-4.30pm-school field.
The year 5 and 6 cross country will be held on Wednesday 14th Oct, at Tarleton High School, 4.30-5.30pm. I am trying to select our best runners and ensure they have transport to this event. We do not have a limit on numbers, though transport may be an issue, the 1st two pupils from each school, count towards the team event, there are medals for the first 3 individuals in each race, girls and boys run separately and in year groups-4 races.
Thursday is Net ball competition-good luck year 6 team!
