Hello parents and carers,
As we reach the end of yet another wonderful year at St. Anne's School - I would like to pay tribute to a group within our community who do so much - which is frequently not seen.
Our PTA do a truly amazing job - all voluntarily - and all to ensure that the children of the school get the best equipment so that in turn they will have the best experiences.
With many terrific fund raising and social events over the year - the most recent being the obvious and excellent summer fayre - they have raised countless thousands of pounds - which has allowed us to buy so much more ICT equipment for the children than would have otherwise been possible - and this translates - in teacher terms - to better learning and better preparation for the 21st Century.
The committee do an incredible job - ably supported by many parents who chip in with valuable support at times of great need - but I'd particularly like to thank Claire Jones and Claudine Bolster who are constantly in school (whilst balancing time with their own work) and even taking holiday - time to ensure that the events run as smoothly as possible.
It really is hugely unselfish and dedicated work - and as a community - and indeed on behalf of the St. Anne's community - I would like to say a heartfelt "huge thank you" for everything that you do!
Here's to another successful 2014/15 Academic Year!!
Kind regards
Joe White
