Football feedback-year 6, Boys/ Girls Liverpool cup training

Dear Parents, A note to say well done to the school team, for coming 2nd in the Ormskirk section, of the Liverpool cup Thursday. We played really well and our only defeat was to a very good Town Green team.
Next Wednesday 3rd Dec, is the West Lancashire finals, of the Liverpool cup, and both Town Green and St. Annes will play against the top 2 teams from Skelmersdale, with the overall winner going through, to play at St. Helens.
The Girls team, who won their Ormskirk event, will also attend the West Lancashire finals, along with 2 other Ormskirk schools and play against 3 Skelmersdale schools. the overall winner will go through to play the next round at St. Helens, T.B.C.
As both events take place at Glenburn, on the same night, and the same time, I am hoping for help with transport. I took 5 pupils to last Thursdays event, but also have to accomodate the girls who may need a lift there and possibly back to school.
This Wednesday, I am taking the Girls squad over to St. Bede's for an hours training 4-5pm.
Last week I took the boys team, and I thank Parents for the excellent work collecting players from the venue.
Can I ask those Parents who have yet to return their permission slips, to do so, and state how their child will be collected from either event.
I have today put forward 5 of the girls team, for a District football trial, at Glenburn, next Monday Afternoon, I was asked to send 2 players, but our team is so strong I sent an extra 3, of the girls not selected, the organiser, has said he will view all our girls at the cup final on the 3rd, so no-one is overlooked. I thank you for your efforts and support, Mr Thomas.
