yr 6 Indoor athletics information for Parents/pupils.

Dear Parents, A number of pupils have asked about ipads and phones, for tomorrows trip to Hyndburn.
I understand that some pupils bring phones to school, and hand them into the office, until 3.30pm, when they are collected. If any child brings their phone to school tomorrow, it will be deposited in the school office, for collection, when we return to school, approx. 330-3.45pm. Also, if a pupil brings an ipad, or tablet, or psp/gameboy etc. that will also be left in the school office, until we return.
I understand pupils need to be occupied on the 1 hour trip to Hyndburn, however, there is no secure place to deposit the devices, once we arrive. The venue is attended by approx. 500 primary pupils, and some parents, and I will not be responsible for the loss of any device, nor do I need the headache of something expensive being broken or mislaid. Can I ask for pupils to bring a book/comic/colouring book etc the staff will have contact with the school, and the pupils need to focus on the event they are attending, sorry to disappoint some pupils, though the school cannot be responsible for such equipment getting lost or damaged.
Please remember a packed lunch and a water bottle for tomorrow-no uniforms, and bring a coat please!
