Sports events-May-years 3,4,5 and 6.

Dear Parents, May is a busy month for sports events with the cross country for years 3 and 4, together with the Composite relay cross country, both of which were re-scheduled, the last boys football league fixtures, and the girls football qualifier for school games at Blackpool-see below.
School year 6 football League-May 3rd (next Tuesday) 4pm-5.30pm Ormskirk High, on grass. This concludes the football fixtures for boys, winners will be announced and medals awarded. We currently remain unbeaten played 10 won 10 goals for 40, against 1. I am selecting all 12 pupils who have played league football matches this year, as they have all contributed. I am sorry to announce I cannot take a second-B Team, due to circumstances.
Cross country for years 3 and 4, will take place on Wednesday 11th May at Tarleton High School 4pm-5.30pm. The event is "open" with the 2 best runners from each school counting towards the team result.
The course is quite long approx. 4 laps of our school field, and transport to the event is a major problem.
I will put up a list for pupils to add their names to, next week, please let your child know if they can attend, before they add their name to the list, we will be dependant on other Parents helping out if possible to get the team to and from the event.
Girls Football year 6 Qualifier for School games at Blackpool. This will take place at the JMO Skelmersdale on Thursday 19th May, on Astroturf. I will select from the 18 girls who have attended training, only 10 can attend.
I have a date for the Liverpool cup finals at Liverpool Academy, which our girls team will attend, it is Monday June 13th (this date may change!)
Schools Composite relay-Cross Country. This is a team of 4 pupils, a year 3,4,5 and 6 in one team running one at a time over an adjustable cross country course(longer for the older pupils)
The event will be at Ormskirk High school 23rd May 4.00pm-5.30pm. I will be taking the 4 teams we selected for the original event on the 17th March.
