Summer Fair Friday 24th June 2016
Dear Parents
We will be having our exciting ‘Summer Fair’ next Friday after school on the junior playground and field. We will have lots of fun things to do including:
Inflatable slide and assault course Bucking bronco Donkey rides Cava and strawberries BBQ Pocket money stall Sand art Hoop la Coconut shy Tombola
There will be other great things to see and do as well. We would be really grateful if you could offer to help us set up and man activities and stalls, as we cannot run the event without your help and support. Please give your names into the School Office with your contact number and we will contact you. We need help setting up from 1:15pm.
We are also are asking for tombola donations. If you could send in a bottle of something with the junior children and chocolates with the infant children on Friday 24th June, and if you have any spare soft toys in a good condition could you send one in per child on Thursday 23rd June, we would be very grateful. These will be used at the summer fair.
We will have an ‘Own Clothes Day’ on Friday 24th June.
We look forward to seeing you at our Summer Fair and thank you for your continued support.

Good morning parents and carers,
As you will see from the earlier post - the Summer Fayre is due to take place tomorrow afternoon.
The forecast for tomorrow is currently questionable - with rain forecast. That having been said, the intensity of the forecast rain is slightly reduced from the predictions that were being broadcast yesterday. In order to allow the possible economic cancellation of some of the events that are due to take place, we need to make a decision about whether to proceed or not at about lunchtime today (Thursday.) Hopefully it will be straightforwardly possible to proceed - however the Summer Fayre is traditionally "good weather dependent."
If there is a strong possibility or likelihood of rain - then we will postpone. If it doesn't appear that rain is likely - we will proceed (which I hope will be the case.)
Either way - we can end up with a Summer Fayre apparently going ahead - but blighted subsequently by rain - or indeed vice versa - a Summer Fayre cancelled due to the prediction of poor weather - which turns out to be bright and sunny!!!
Either way - we will make "the call" according to the best information available at lunchtime and keep you informed.
If we do need to postpone - we will set an alternative date for later this term.
Hopefully its "all systems go" for Friday afternoon!
Kind regards
Joe White Headteacher
