Good morning parents, carers and children,
I trust that you have had a good summer and are looking forward to a wonderful new year at school.
We are excited for another great year in school and settling the children back in a little later today.
End of Day Arrangements For Years 4 and 6
There is a new arrangement that I would like to make you aware of which starts straight away:
We have been looking at how to best release the children at the end of the school day and would like to try a new system for our Year 4 and Year 6 children:
Currently Year 4 and Year 6 children are released from their classroom doors at the rear of the school. We would like to try a new system which releases the children at the front of the school, which, if we can make it work successfully, would be a much better place to release them.
Starting today for a trial period, Year 6 children will be released from the Year 3 doors and Year 4 will be released from the Year 5 doors at 3.30pm. This will mean that parents should find it more logical managing collection of children from different age groups. We will closely monitor this situation and will confirm or amend the plan in the near future.
Looking forward to seeing everyone later today.
Kind regards
Joe White Headteacher
