Cross country update -this Wednesday.

Dear Parents, We have 28 yr, 5 and 20 yr,6 Pupils for the cross country event Wednesday 12th Oct at Tarleton-4.15-5.30 pm approx.
We also have 3 pupils who have not returned a letter.
We have arranged lifts for 20 pupils-thanks to all who offered-I have texted the Parents who are taking other pupils, to confirm their assistance.
Some pupils need returning to St. Annes from the event-I'm sorry, as I usually take those pupils myself, but my car is already full with pupils to come back.
If you have a problem with the transport, please contact me-sooner rather than later.
All volunteer drivers have to complete a self declaration form-school office-to confirm M.O.T. Tax and Licence are up to date-this has to be done each time you volunteer, as situations change.
My thanks to everyone who replied in time and those helping-the venue is quite large and I may call on your assistance during the event.
Please encourage all pupils running, it is the hardest event we do and is a little daunting, some may get it wrong and look distressed, the pupils should run at their own pace-we have practiced this! A p.e or running kit-trainers and a coat and drink are needed.
A message from the organisers, asks if pupils can leave as soon as their race is finished-to aleviatte the terrible traffic jams after the last race and presentation-I will leave that decision to you.
