Dear Parents, We are aware that collecting pupils at 3.30 pm to transport to Tarleton may be a struggle, especially waiting for siblings. I am collecting all the year 5 and 6 runners, who will be changed- at 3.15 pm, together with the siblings of any runner who has transport to the event. The staff will deliver the siblings to the Junior Hall.
Obviously I will not be collecting the siblings of those pupils who require lifts to the event (20 pupils)
At 3.20-3.25 pm I will be outside the school office area, with all cross country runners (50) and the siblings of those with own transport.
If you do not want me to collect the siblings-another Parent may be collecting an infant pupil for example, please let me know.
I will be departing school at 3.30 pm, as I have 6 pupils to transport to Tarleton, please be on time.
The Time you save may get you away from St. Annes before the rush starts-there is no advantage leaving earlier as we will only run into the schools at Burscough.
The first race is due at 4.30 pm, I will once again ask the organisers for some tolerance, although they have threatened to start the race without any schools who arrive too late. I hope this makes pick up easier, Thanks Mr. Thomas.
