Dear Parents, could I please ask you to check that your child has a P.E. kit and a pair of pumps-that are not too small/don't fasten-just ask them if its okay. I am aware that some pupils have outgrown their pumps and I ask the pupils to let you know this, unfortunately you never receive the information, and you may not get the chance to check. If a child's pumps-or kit are missing or awaiting a new pair-send your child in with a pair of trainers and any shorts-for that weeks P.E. That is better than them missing the lesson. Here are the days I instruct P.E. and the year groups/class. Monday-year 6-we are halfway through our Gymnastics-if pupils want to wear a leotard under their kit that's fine, but not always necessary. Tuesday-Year 3. Wednesday-year 1 (class 4). Thursday-year 4. Friday Year 5. As with year 6, year 5 can also wear a leotard under their kit. Other year groups have their p.e. with an outside provider- SSP. on Tuesdays. I am posting this message, as I am aware of pupils missing out due to kit, and I cannot rely on young pupils remembering to mention tight pumps. Thank you for your support, Mr. Thomas.
